Questions, answered.
What is VERYFY?
VERYFY is a skills verification and capability-based hiring platform. Professionals build verified profiles that prove their skills, experience and results, including transferable skills a CV misses. Employers and recruiters use that evidence to assess candidates and hire with more confidence.
How do you say VERYFY?
Just like "verify".
Is VERYFY a job board?
No. VERYFY is a record of verified work. Employers use it to find and assess people, and professionals use it to prove what they can do wherever they apply.
Who is VERYFY for?
Professionals who want to prove what they can do, including career switchers, freelancers and graduates. Employers, recruitment agencies and independent recruiters who want to hire on evidence. And training providers who want to show employers what their learners can do.
Is it free?
Yes.
Who confirms my work?
You choose. Usually a manager, a peer or a client who saw the work. They confirm it, correct it or say it's wrong, and their name and how they checked are recorded.
What if my old manager has left the company?
Ask someone else who saw the work, such as a peer, a client or another senior colleague. You can also attach evidence for review.
Can I control who sees my profile?
Yes. Share it only by link, let matching employers see it, or hide it. You can also hide individual items.
Do verifications expire?
No. Once work is verified, it stays verified.
How do we find candidates?
Post a role and VERYFY finds professionals whose verified work fits it. You can also accept applications as usual, and let AI agents search for more people.
Does VERYFY replace background checks?
No. Background checks cover identity, right to work and records. VERYFY covers what someone actually did at work. Most teams use both.
Will AI make hiring decisions for us?
No. AI agents can search, rank, assess and recommend, always showing the proof behind each suggestion. Only your team can shortlist, reject or hire.
Can we test candidates on real work?
Yes. Set a work brief, review submissions against your own criteria, and approved work becomes verified evidence on the professional's verified profile.
What does “VERYFY'D” mean?
Someone checked the evidence and confirmed the work, and how they checked it is recorded. It confirms past work. It doesn't predict how someone will perform in future.
What happens if a claim is disputed?
It's marked Disputed and shown openly. The professional can challenge the result and ask for a second reviewer.
Do employers see my documents?
No. Employers see whether the work was verified, not the private documents behind it.
Do you sell my data?
No. We never sell or license your evidence, and we don't use it to train third-party models.
Where is my data stored?
Mainly in the UK and EU. If a supplier ever moves data outside that region, it's protected by standard legal agreements.
