VERYFY only works if professionals trust us with their evidence and employers trust what our verification means. This page explains how both hold up.

What we will and will not do with your evidence.
You control visibility and contact
You set whether your profile is link-only, visible to matched employers, or hidden — and whether employers can contact you at all. Both can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
VERYFY'D means checked
We never mark a capability as VERYFY'D on self-assertion alone. If evidence cannot be substantiated, the claim stays unverified rather than being quietly upgraded.
Evidence is not sold
Your evidence is not sold, licensed or used to train models for third parties. It exists to support your capability profile.

Nothing is visible unless you decide it is.
Professionals hold every switch on VERYFY. You choose who can see your profile, what appears on it, and whether employers can contact you at all — and you can change any of it at any time.

How verification works
A claim is not a capability until it has been checked.
Every capability follows the same path: you claim it, you attach evidence, that evidence is checked through a method appropriate to the claim, and only then is the capability published as VERYFY'D.
Methods differ by evidence type — confirming a role with an employer of record, reviewing submitted work, validating a credential with its issuer, or an employer's review of completed Work. The method used is recorded against the claim.
Where something cannot be substantiated, it stays visible as unverified. We would rather show an honest gap than a soft approval.

AI agents
No agent decides anything about you.
Employers can run sourcing, assessment and screening agents on VERYFY. Those agents organise evidence you have already chosen to publish — they never create it, and they work inside the controls you set above.
Verification stays human
An agent can evaluate a submission and recommend. Only the employer who reviewed your work can mark it VERYFY'D.
Your settings bind the agents
A hidden profile is never sourced. If you are not open to being contacted, no agent invites you to anything.
You are told when it is AI
Assessment invitations say the challenge was drafted by an agent. A screening interview says plainly that the interviewer is AI.
Declining is not penalised
You can ask for a human conversation instead of an AI screening. It is not recorded as a withdrawal.

Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to verification records is limited to the team performing checks, and every access is logged.
Your rights
You can export your evidence, correct any record, withdraw a published capability or delete your account and its verification history at any time.
